กล้องดูดาวนี้เหมาะสำหรับผู้เริ่มต้นในการดูดาว สามารถดูได้ทั้ง ดาวเคราะห์และวัตถุท้องฟ้า ด้วยขนาดหน้ากล้องที่ใหญ่ ถึง 5 นิ้ว ที่มาพร้อมด้วยเลนส์ใกล้ตาพลอซเซิล ขนาด 10 มม. (กำลังขยาย 90 เท่า) และ เลนส์ใกล้ตาพลอซเซิล ขนาด 25 มม. (กำลังขยาย 36 เท่า)  จะทำให้สามารถสังเกต เนบิวล่าสว่างใหญ่ได้ง่ายกว่ากล้องที่มีขนาดเล็กทั่วไป และสามารถส่องเห็นพื้นผิวของดวงจันทร์ได้อย่างง่ายดาย

ระบบขาตั้งกล้อง
ขาตั้งกล้องเป็นแบบ Equatorial ซึ่งใช้งานง่าย เพียงแค่ท่านตั้งขาตั้งกล้องไปทางทิศเหนือ และปรับมุมเงยของขาไว้ที่ประมาณ 15 องศา ท่านจะสามารถ ติดตามวัตถุที่ท่านดูเช่น หลุม copernicus บนดวงจันทร์ ไว้ได้อย่างง่ายดาย ทั้งนี้ ชุดกล้องดูดาวนี้ถูกออกแบบมาเพื่อการศึกษาดาราศาสตร์เป็นอย่างยิ่ง ดังนั้น เราจึงใส่ ฟิลเตอร์ดวงจันทร์ (moon filter) เพื่อตัดแสงส่วนเกินเวลาเราส่องดวงจันทร์ คืนพระจันทร์เต็มดวง รวมถึงโปรแกรม “Starry Night special edition software” เพื่อช่วยในการศึกษาดวงดาวของท่านให้เป็นเรื่องสนุกยิ่งขึ้น
